요즘 Before Sunset Script 로 공부 하는데, 공부 한 것 정리 할 겸  정리해서 업로드 하기로 했다! 

방식은 영어 대사랑 해석이랑 모르는 단어 중간 중간에 뭐 적는 정도.. 그리고 공부 하면서 느꼈던 감정 같은 것 -_-...( 쇼킹한 것이 많다.) 대단한 것은 없다.  

그런데.. 워낙에 필기같은 것 해도 예쁘고 눈에 확 들어오게 정리 잘하는 타입이 아니라서, 그냥 성실히 올린다는 것에만 의의를 가질 듯........ ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

상황 설명문은 빼고 순수 대사만으로 할 예정, 그리고 혹시나 보시는 분들 중에 내가 틀린 것 오류 발견해주고 알려주면 좋겠다는 생각으로 올리는 것도 있음 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ (전문적이지 않고 혼자 하는 거라서 검증이 불가능 ㅠㅠ)

가끔 들어와주시는 블로거분들이 수정해주시는 것이 꿀같이 느껴져셔 이렇게 쓰는 것 절대 맞음! ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

분량은 정해진 것 없이 그냥 올리고 싶은만큼 올릴 예정임.

와 이게 이렇게 해석이 되다니.... 충격이다. 역시 번역은 쉬운 것이 아니야.

Jesse : Isn't everything autobiographical, I mean we all see the world from our own tiny keyhole. 

          I always think of Thomas Wolfe - have you ever seen that little one page 'note to reader' in the front of Look Homeward, Angel.

토마스 울프라는 작가가 있죠.

그의 책 서문을 읽다 보면 제밥 와닿는 말이 나옵니다.

Anyway, He says how we are the sum of all the moments of our lives, 

that anybody who writes will use the clay of their lives, that you can't avoid that. 

I remember he says he can't imagine anything more autobiographical then Gulliver's Travels.

(이 문장은 대본에는 있는데 영화에는 없음 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ)

-우리라는 작은 존재는 우리가 살아온 모든 작은 순간들의 총합이라고,

그러므로 작가는 작품에 자신의 삶을 투영하게 되고 필수불가결한 요소란 거죠.

When I look at my life, I have to admit I've never been around a bunch of guns or violence, a helicopter crash, political intrigue.

But my life, from my point of view, has been full of drama.

And one of the most exciting things that's ever happened to me is actually connecting with another person and 

I thought if I could write a book that could capture that,

 make that connection valuable, that possibility... 

anyway that was the attempt. I don't know if that answers your question. 

(대본은 이런데.. 제시가 하는 대사는 정확히 이렇게 말하지는 않음 ㅜㅜ 대본만 읽을때는 몰랐는데 영화 보니깐 순서가 좀 바꼈네.)

그럼에도 내 자신에게 있어서 인생이란 한편의 드라마에요.

책을 쓰며 생각했죠

누군가를 만난다는 게 어떤 것인지 표현하자

살아오면서 겪었던 가장 소중한 경험들이 바로 만남이니깐 말이죠.

그걸 가치있게 뽑아낼 수 있다면 시도해보자..

예스라고 해두죠.

결말이 약간 모호한데요. 주인공들은 서로 약속대로 6개월 후에 만나게 되나요?

Jesse: I think how you answer that is a good test as to whether you are a romantic or a cynic.

As that promise.. I think I answered that, you know, It is a test if you are a romantic or a cynic.

약속대로라.. 그 답변은 이미 한 것 같네요. 일종의 테스트죠. 자신의 낭만을 시험하는.

Jesse: You think they get back together, you don't, you hope they do but are't sure.

I mean that.. You think they get back together, you don't, for sure. And you hope they do, you know, so I asked question.

딱 보니까 이 쪽분은 '재회' 이 분은 '절대 안된다' 이 쪽분은 '만나면 좋겠다' 그런 표정들이시네요, 맞죠? 

여기까지 했는데.. 데이빗이 청소기 돌린다고 해서 영화를 들을 수가 없어서 스탑. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

그냥 스크립트 보면서 해석할때랑 직접 들으면서 확인할떄랑은 또 다르네. 그리고 확실히 문장을 아니깐 더 잘 들린다.

내가 영어를 못 알아 듣는 이유는 아마 몰라서 그런 듯....... 흑흑, 서글픈 사실 하나 발견

* Intrigue 정치적인 음모

모르는 단어는 이거 하난데 호락호락하지 않다. 휴....... 갈길이 멀다~
